P-V Retired Teachers Assn.
Welcome To The
Parke Vermillion Retired Teachers Association

We represent teachers and other school staff who have retired from schools in Parke or Vermillion counties in Indiana. For Information Or How To Join, Please Contact Sandee Frey,  Local Association President.

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association is to promote the welfare of Indiana’s retired educators; to encourage and perpetuate education on the state of Indiana; and to provide community leadership, service and guidance.

PVRTA has four meetings each year on the second Monday of September, November, April and May, with two in Parke County and two in Vermillion.  All retired teachers in these counties are invited to join the PVRTA and attend the meetings.  They are also encouraged to join the IRTA; this is the only organization in the state that advocates in the legislature for a COLA (Cost of Living Adjustment) or 13th check/stipend for retired teachers.
